About Us:

EDEHAT (Empowerment & Development through Education, Health, Awareness and Technology) was started in the year 2016 .

Our Objective:

Our objective is to encourage and motivate people to reuse books. Generally we observe that used books are recycled, instead they can be redistributed.

We, as citizens, can take a wise decision to donate these books to the needy and less privileged children after using them.

Most of the school students in our country, especially in the rural areas, have minimal access to knowledge which is in the form of regular curriculum books

They generally get these books free from the government. But they lack other provisions like even a good collection of reference books, or a school library.

So, we think if they are provided with rich reference books , they can not only enhance their reading & learning skills, but they can also develop concepts in environment sciences, health awareness, and at the same time, keep up to date with recent technologies.

Because , Edehat believes that "Today a reader is tomorrow a Pioneer"
It is a small initiative to help the less privileged children, by creating awareness in our society about donating books . The books suitable for classes from Nursery and upto Tenth standard will be handed over to various schools for library purposes.
